Sparkwise makes data accessible so it can be put to good use. It combines big data with primary data and integrates media, storytelling and direct calls to action to ignite positive change. As part of our commitment to innovating for the nonprofit sector, Sparkwise is open source and free.

Sparkwise is a Tomorrow Partners Venture. Research and the Alpha development phase of Sparkwise was supported by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Sparkwise was incubated as the Impact Dashboard project through a partnership between Tomorrow Partners, a design firm in Berkeley, CA and Bay Area Video Coalition (BAVC), with the support of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Ford Foundation, The Wyncote Foundation and The Fledgling Fund.

Sparkwise has experienced steady growth since its launch in 2012. Leveraging a year and a half of research and development, partnerships with leading foundations, and relationships with national media organizations and global NGOs, the Sparkwise team continually adds features that build on the core strengths of the platform, so check back for updates and announcements.
